Why I Love This Wedding Photograph #2 | Old Folks at Powys Wedding

I believe my job as a south wales wedding photographer is to make sure that every single time you look back at your wedding photo’s you remember the whole raft of emotions you experienced on your special day, together with memories of those special people you celebrated with.  I want the laughs and the tears.  The rough and the smooth.  The old and the young. And it’s the old that are the subject in this particular photo.

POWYS WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY

As will be the case with quite a few of the wedding photographs you’ll see in this series, it won’t necessarily be the epic bride and groom shot that makes it in to my favourites.  Sure, there will be a few of those, but the more documentary style wedding photo’s, those that fit in with my natural and relaxed style, are usually the moments that I prefer.

Number two in this series is this one of three guests taken at Hannah & Elgan’s marquee wedding in Powys on what was a not so sunny day.  Again not the most epic of wedding photographs ever, but it’s one that makes me smile every time I see it.  The expression on the ladies face as the two gentlemen talk across her – l wonder if she can hear what they are talking about, and if she can, whether she even cares!

I hope you like this photo from one of my Powys weddings.  Are you planning a Powys wedding? My style of photography is all about capturing moments like these as they happen. Nothing posed. If you are looking for a natural and relaxed wedding photographer and think we could work well together, I’d love to hear all about your plans.  You can get in touch here.  Although based in Wales, I’m available for weddings all over the UK and abroad.
