About Me

Hi, and welcome to Steven Parry Photography.  In case you hadn't guessed, I'm Steve and I'm fortunate enough to be based in the beautiful hills of Mid Wales in the small town of Builth Wells, Powys.

So this is the part where I tell you a little about me...... hmmmmm...... where to start?  Well that's me above (and below), and as you can probably tell, I'm not one for being in front of the camera.  I like live music, play the drums badly, support a mediocre football team and am a bit of a perfectionist.  Travel is also a passion, although not so much since my little son came along!  And after years of missing out, I've also just started getting into my coffee.

Although based in sunny Mid Wales, I'm happy to travel to anywhere you want to take me.  If that's North Wales, then of course.  Or maybe your getting married in South Wales, for sure.  What about England, yeah why not.  What about further afield like The Maldives...... let me think... Oh YES!!!

My style

So my style, what is my 'style'?  The way I approach my weddings and like to photograph them is laid back, relaxed and involves very little fuss.  I believe that if you're relaxed and comfortable the pictures will pretty much take themselves.

People often ask me 'why shoot weddings?'.  The obvious simple answer is that I love the stories the images tell of your day.  From the pre-ceremony jitters to the laughter and celebrations in the evening, each wedding is so different to the last, that my job never becomes boring.

I believe that my role as a photographer, is to do justice to what makes your love special.  I want to document those moments that you will cherish forever and if I'm successful in what I do then hopefully relationships are built, friends are made and memories that will last a lifetime are captured.

To see more, head over and take a look at some of my previous work or maybe try my news page where you will be able to see some of the other things that I have been up to lately.

Otherwise, if you want to chat more, get in touch and we can meet for a coffee (did I mention I like coffee?!).
