Cotswolds Wedding Photographer

Capturing Moments, Documenting Memories, Telling Stories

So you’re getting married and looking for a Cotswolds wedding Photographer? Want natural, relaxed and no fuss wedding photos?

I’m Steve, a wedding photographer who shoots weddings all over the UK and beyond. Congratulations on your engagement and on your location choice, you’ve certainly chosen one of the most beautiful and scenic areas in the UK for your special day.

With an extremely relaxed and natural style, my aim is to document your Cotswolds wedding with as little fuss as possible. To document everything from your special day so that the memories are yours to cherish for a lifetime to come. I’m not here to pose you, take you away from your guests for hours at a time or to make you feel awkward. I just sit back and blend in to the shadows so that you can enjoy the day, your day, as much as possible.

"Steve was outstanding! We both felt at ease instantly around him, with all of our friends and family also commenting on his relaxed and amusing personality.

He was able to expertly capture so many amazing moments for us!"

RELAXED COTSWOLDS WEDDINGS

An area of outstanding natural beauty, covering nearly 800 square miles and spanning 5 counties, the Cotswolds is surely one of the best areas you could choose to host your wedding. From picture perfect English villages with their manicured gardens and orchards to historic ancient market towns surrounded by rolling hills, or even larger towns like Tewksbury, Cheltenham or Stroud, it’s no wonder it’s such a popular location.

GETTING MARRIED IN THE COTSWOLDS

The surrounding countryside and beautiful landscapes of the Cotswolds are a photographers dream and provide the perfect backdrop to capture your wedding against. Trust me when I say it’s not hard to find a great location for photos when blessed with all that the Cotswolds has to offer. Having exchanged your vows and said ‘I do’ in this the most perfect of settings, newlyweds are sure to stay in a state of nuptial bliss.

Wedding venues in the Cotswolds are plentiful and there’s something for every couple regardless of budget. Perhaps you’re looking for a small wedding venue or are planning an intimate ceremony for close family and friends. Or for those who would like their wedding celebrations on a grander scale there’s exclusive rustic wedding barns such as Cripps Barn or even stately homes and regal palaces. Opting for a larger venue means there will be plenty of room to relax or to host all your bridesmaids and flower girls and page boys comfortably during bridal preparations on the wedding morning. Or perhaps you’re planning an epic evening wedding party for lots for guests. Think wedding band, music and lots of dancing!

Many of the beautiful Cotswolds wedding venues offer the opportunity to customise your wedding, so the wedding you’ve always dreamed about can become reality. Perhaps you would like ceremony to take place inside or you’re prepared to brave the British weather and opt for an outside wedding ceremony where you can incorporate the idyllic surroundings in to your magical day. Some also offer a blank canvas for which to design your wedding around, providing you with a great starting point to customise your wedding day as you want to, from decorations, styling and seating plans for wedding guests, to colour schemes and wedding breakfast options or canapés.

Two of my favourite wedding venues that I visited last summer are in Gloucestershire. The Holford Arms was the perfect smaller venue for Kat & Christoff’s summer festival themed wedding. Whilst one of my highlights was the exclusive wedding barn venue Kingscote Barn where I was lucky enough to attend to document Beth and Rhys’ epic wedding day.

Wedding guests will also love your choice of the Cotswolds to hold your wedding celebrations at. There’s so many choices for wedding guest accommodation whichever venue you choose. Guests could also combine your wedding with a long weekend away, the perfect place to relax and recharge you batteries. Being such a large and diverse area there is also so much to do away from the wedding itself. In fact, the area would also make a fabulous honeymoon destination for the happy couple.

Honestly, when shooting weddings at venues like these, it’s not hard to see why being a Cotswolds wedding photographer is the best job in the world. They say your wedding will be one of the best days of your lives and by choosing a Cotswolds wedding, you can be sure that the memories you create will ones that last a lifetime.
