Brecon Beacons Wedding

Chloe & Adam’s spring time Brecon Beacons wedding took place in some of the most stunningly beautiful countryside that Powys has to offer. Although by no means my first time being a wedding photographer in the Brecon Beacons, it was certainly the first time at a location so close, at what seemed to be almost within touching distance of Pen y Fan and Corn Du its self.

SPRING WEDDING IN THE BRECON BEACONS

Like many other weddings over the last 2 years or so, this was one that had been postponed due to you know what. But when the day to say ‘I do’ did finally arrived, what a wedding day it was. Glorious sunshine greeted the bride and groom, providing the perfect backdrop to the wedding day they’d waited so long for.

I spent the morning with Chloe and her bridesmaids at their new house, which they had only moved into days before. Then it was on to the church in Sennybridge for the official wedding ceremony. Once the registers had been signed and the confetti had been thrown, we headed to the reception on a hillside overlooking the Beacons.

PEN Y FAN WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY

The Brecon Beacons National Park is an area of outstanding natural beauty and we took the opportunity on the journey to the reception to get some beautiful images of the couple. As all the couples who hire me know, this time just the two of you is great chance to reflect on what has just happened, taking a moment to enjoy each others company. I never pose couples, I just let them be in the moment and aim to capture the emotions that follow. It was a such pleasure taking photographs against such a picturesque landscape.

Enjoy some photos from an amazing day as a Brecon Beacons wedding photographer.
