Cheryl & Josh, Holy Trinity Church, Penrhos and Maesbrook
The One That Nearly Didn't Happen
As I mentioned in my sneak peak post, my wedding season kicked off with the wedding of Cheryl & Josh on the May bank holiday weekend at the end of May. These two really were great to work for, I know I go on (sometimes) about 'laid back' weddings and how I personally find them to be the best kind, but these two proved the point perfectly.
With a 'Friends' theme for the table names, it very nearly turned into 'The One That Nearly Didn't Happen' after their son George was taken ill that morning and had to be taken to hospital. Thankfully though after a thorough check up and some TLC George took a turn for the better which meant the day would go ahead as planned.
A hectic few hours followed in order to be at the church on time, but Cheryl made it on time (ish), besides it's a brides prerogative to be a little late right?! Following the ceremony it was back to the family farm in Maesbrook for the reception and what looked like it was turning into a great party later on!
I think I mentioned it in my previous sneak peak post, but I will say it again, circumstances weren't ideal but both Cheryl & Josh really did take it all in their stride, with none of it seeming to bother either of them one bit. I must also say that I have also never seen a bride smile, laugh and pull as many faces (intentional or not) as Cheryl.
A quick shout out also to Ollie over at Floodgate Films. It was a pleasure to work with you, looking forward to maybe working together soon.
Here's to Mr & Mrs Hayward, congratulations!!!
