Merry Christmas & Best Bits 2017

A Toast to 2017!

Another year gone already, it only seems like yesterday I was sat here looking forward to 2017 and what it may bring. It didn't disappoint, I was lucky enough to be asked to photograph some amazing weddings for some amazing people and I even got to tick a few things off my photography bucket list at the same time!  As ever, a huge thank you to those that I have worked for and those that I have worked alongside.  I intend to take a few days off now until the New Year before it all starts again in 2018.

So what of 2018...

Well, there's plenty of goals and things that I want to achieve. I'm happy with the way the business is growing and if it continues to grow as it did in 2017 I will be a very happy chappy indeed.  There's also the bucket list, which seems to be getting longer and longer.  There's always the learning, which is never ending (but in a good way). And of course there's all the great people and their weddings that I have to look forward to in 2018, with a lot of new venues which I'm excited to be going to.  So 2018 will hopefully be a good one!

For my last post of 2017 I thought about the old cliche of trying to draw up a top 10 of my favourite photographs from 2017, but it was proving a little too difficult with so many personal favourites.  So below is a (very select) few of my particular highlights (in no order).  But before then it just remains for me to say...

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you all.

I love this photo!  Poor little George was a little under the weather the morning of the wedding, step in favourite Aunty as his mum got ready.

A BIG shout out to these two, without a doubt the most laid back couple of the year.  And those facial expressions!!

Emotional times at Jess & Ricci's amazing day.

For those times when you just have to let your inner rock star out.

I've also been lucky enough to be asked to capture some family photography as well as welcoming baby number two into the Parry household (a rare self-portrait of sorts - credit The Boss with the last picture).
